I think I was just pointing out that I do a word of the day. Today's is foist. I love doing cross curricular stuff. I explain the word and the etimology. I make my students draw things as well. Sooooo many kids have said they learn more about history in music class that they do in history class.

Cross curricular stuff is great; sometimes I use keywords appearing in songs for short historical digressions (for example in the round "White sand and grey sand").
