Today we sang "I like the flowers" with one of my preschool classes, then drew what we had sung and what came to our minds concerning "spring". The german lyrics are different from the english version: no flowers, daffodils, mountains or rolling hills, but the sun shining, and the expectation of more warm and less winterly weather. No problem for most of our preschool kids; for those who hesitated taking the pencils I made a (very) quick drawing to help them in.
Willie, 67
Class and teacher singing "Ich lieb den Frühling".
During her first months in our school Gharam didn't draw at all; she just sat there, staring at the blank paper, not accepting any help. Since several weeks, things have changed.

The objects on the left side are flower-guitars, in the middle there is an upside-down-flower made of digits.

Sunflower on green hill.
Karim too had problems taking a pencil in his early days at school; now he loves drawing.
