I did, thanks. I think that guy is asking too much given that the mustache is wonky. Also saw the one in Barcelona on Reverb, but $1600 seems a bit spendy.
I don't know what these used to go for but the mustache pieces couldn't be easier to reposition; heat with hair fan and glue in the proper place. I was surprised that the seller didn't do it before posting it for sale, seems silly. But it may be a chance to offer a lower price on the account of that. It'll literally take you 15 minutes to move those.

I have a Gitane 310 Lulo Reinhardt model that I could sell you. I was keen on keeping it, but the thin profile neck throws me a little, after playing some beefier necks!
I'm in the UK though, and the thought of posting a guitar to the US gives me the fear!!
Let me know if you'd be interested in the 310. It's a beautiful guitar and is very loud and barky. I stripped and refinished the top with shellac which has improved tone and volume. There is hardly any fret wear. I could ship it in a bombproof Hiscox case. I would like £800 for it.
I got a guitar from the UK 2 years ago that came in a Hiscox case. Survived just fine despite its age. It was also sent in August during the heat, but it came through.
Re: the moustache pieces...they look centered on the lower bout like you'd see in a short 640 scale guitar. The position of the bridge on this one looks approximately where it should be for a 670 scale, just the moustache tips aren't in the right place.
Thanks for the suggestion, Buco. I was under the impression that moving the mustache pieces would ruin the finish where the pieces were formerly located. I'll consider that guitar a little more seriously.
Hi Jamie, thanks for the offer to sell me your 310, but I've got my sights set on a grande bouche as I already own a petite bouche (DG-250M).

Did you see this one?

What do you guys think of the 320 in Barcelona? https://reverb.com/item/38146893-gitane-dg-320-john-jorgenson-gypsy-jazz-profesional Looks like the sale ended (was ~$1,600), so it's even more prohibitively expensive at $1,900.
Has anyone ever played a DG-370? What are those like?
Why do you want two mediocre guitars, instead of one good one?
What makes you think I care about your opinion, littlemark?
1. You posted a question on a public forum. A forum of which I am a member.
2. I didn't offer an opinion. I asked a question in hopes of understanding what you are trying to achieve.
Forgive me for participating in discussion.
