Wasn't aware of her, thanks for bringing her up. It sounds super nice, a krivo pickup never sounded nicer.

Thanks Buco, kind sir. That pickup just works, almost drilled an endpin jack today, stared at it for awhile but decided I'll wait until after the holidays & take it in to have done. Hahaha

It does sound really nice! Great, delicate playing too--full of expression.

You got this, it's really no big deal. As I've done my share of some ambitious diy stuff, I learned that guitars are tougher to screw up than I thought. As long as you plan your steps ahead and are used to using basic tools, you'd do fine.

Thanks for the encouragement. I go back & forth with this stuff. It'll probably happen, I've seriously gutted my fair share of electric & acoustic guitars, never drilled into the end block of an acoustic though I don't think.

I've drilled into the end block to put in a endpin Jack before. It's was "scary". But totally doable. My biggest fear was not keeping the drill straight and the jack not being flush. It was fine.

That one is the hardest to screw up, you'd have to try really hard.

No guts no glory. All hail the 1/8" to 1/2"Step Drill Bit! I don't think I cursed once, amazing. I had blue tape, forgot to use it but the hole's underneath the hanging down part of the tailpiece anyway. I haven't negotiated the connecting part yet. I have the entire cable crammed in there connected to a jack that's on the cable from the Baggs output jack I had laying around. That's next but as advertised, pretty easy. I was hoping I could get my arm all the way in there to the jack but not to be.

Also I took a pic of the inside & I thought it may have been cracked but just some grain so as soon as I started drilling I was like...please don't crack, please don't crack. 😀

So now where's the strap peg going?

Here? Is there enough room here?
