I don't think Michael sells these, but I used to use one on an acoustic guitar of mine. It is an option if you don't want to put the other button somewhere. Just loops under the strings behind the nut. No drilling required.
Would a button there impact playability in the cutaway area? If you're not actually standing with the guitar, and are just trying to get it into a more upright position, I know several GJ players who use the little pillows on their leg for the guitar and that seems to work well.
I think he will be standing up. But I personally also wouldn't use the button behind the heel, it has to make it more difficult to reach behind the cutaway. But maybe it's a matter of adjusting and getting used to it. Anywhere would work as long as there is enough depth for the screw.
Hey thanks all! Great advice, yes to standing...it's only for a few tunes here & there & there's not many gigs. I think I am going to take @billyshakes idea and get the headstock strap attachment folk style thing just to try it. Appreciate y'all!

Clean job!
Hey thanks for the link @billyshakes! Something to consider but at this point I think I'm all in with sticking the other button on there.
