A bit of news...

Patrick is in about the same condition. He's been moved to a new facility outside Paris, a very modern place where he's getting some good therapy.

I'm closing down the donation account. Beyond all expectations, our small community gave over $3000 - and I was thus able to send Patrick's wife Lodie 2155 euros. Special thanks to Nick Lehr and all the folks at Djangofest who made a very generous donation. There were many donations of $100, $200, and even one of $500.

On Lodie's behalf, many thanks to everyone who donated money, said a prayer or just thought a kind thought about Patrick. There are a lot of good and generous people around.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone - don't forget to take a moment each day to reflect on all your good fortune.
