As the title says. Post song suggestions here only. One post per song, as @rudolfochrist suggested. Any other ideas or suggestions, please post in the other, "let's do a colab", thread.
I‘m Not sure how the voting works, but I assume each suggestion has its own post and the one with the most likes is it? or not? Anyway, I make separate posts for my suggestions.
I've always liked Lentement Mademoiselle 3/31/1942 Paris. Beautiful melody. I liked and played Alma Sinti/Patrick Saussois "Rythmes Gitans" version 1999 that has some nice rythmic syncopation but didn't do any solo improv.

R vingt-six
Duke and Dukie
H.C.Q. Strut
Artillerie Lourde.
Not too obvious, usually played in relaxed tempo and straightforward changes.
I'll second Artillerie Lourde. And add J'Attendrai.
minor swing to state the obvious
A second vote for J'Attendrai. An iconic French tune with a very beautiful and recognizable melody.
