Yes, but be honest. Where else on the internet could you have this confusion in a discussion about what the "and" of the beat is and is that sixteenth notes or swung triplets. Is it an upstroke here or a downstroke there? A place where several of your friends would try to make videos and draw diagrams all trying to understand each other, etc. In the end, we got there, and we had a little interesting conversation along the way. I just want to thank you all personally because if I only had my wife to talk about this, I'd probably be long ago divorced! :-)
At least we had an entertaining few days diversion.
Totally, that's one of the reasons i love djangobooks! That was a good ride.✌️

I will Jump in here at likely the end - just to hammer home one fact: Playing/thinking about things like this at a high level (see @Rip 's audio!) leads us to deeper understanding of what swings/is useful and provides options - All of the great jazz drummers could play just about every rhythm they hear/imagine/dream up - and find places to use them. IMHO this idea gives us yet another option to the sonic rhythmic palate. Now I just have to go learn how to do this!

It never dawned on me to take a picture, but good things come to those who wait.
Very cool!
