There are tons of mid and low level factory gypsy guitars in France, I'm told. They are not worth a whole lot, even from some well known shops (probably the lower level instruments sold from those shops, not the high shelf stuff). But they often need work and aren't worth enough to fix.
I visited Guitare Village in early 2020, they had a lot of instruments but many of them were very poorly setup. Gallerie Casanova is a really nicely curated selection of stuff.
Well, business is totally legit so guitars they sell should be too. I wouldn't be concerned just because the price seems low. There have been sweet looking Busatos for sale in France for around 10K, where on the US market I've never seen one for less than 15K, usually +/- 20K nowadays.
I don't know why Casanova was brought up, the OP said "in reasonable price" 😁
That's a beautiful shop and it's really worth a visit! But it's high-end stuff, guitars probably starting at like €3000, and you would find the shoes/handbags nearby at similar prices (Galerie Véro-Dodat is luxury shopping)
Comments
It's just what the market is like in Paris and France.
so there is not any catch?Like the guitar is legit but its just cheaper right?
could you send me information and photos of the guitar and the price?
by they way are you the luthier? I have read great comments about your guitars!

It's just the same reason a nice croissant or baguette is €0.90 or €1.10 in Paris, but you want the same thing in US it's like $3 or more.
