I have .pdf charts (they're in notation, not tablature) that I have made for all of the tunes listed below. I've attached one of them so you can check it out. If anybody wants any or all of them, let me know.
Here are the songs I have that weren't in the last version of the djangobooks fakebook:
a smooth one
anniversary song
blues clair
but not for me
dinah
double whiskey
dream of you
exactly like you
how high the moon
in a mellow tone
it's only a paper moon
lulu swing
minor swing
sweet sue
take the a train
there will never be another you
viper's dream
what kind of friend
where or when
I am Annie from Manitou Springs, Colorado. I write charts in Finale and would love to participate in your program. I am a clarinetist and need to transpose many of my C parts into Bb. I am in the process of trying to create a Bb Gypsy Jazz book for myself. I am sad because I can't seem to push the right buttons to download your charts on wiki. My Finale charts are beautiful, but I am not up-to-par on using the internet properly. annie
Annie - I'm not sure which wiki charts you are looking at. This thread is rather old, and the older posts might not be valid links. Start from the end, and work your way backwards. Hope this helps

Hi Annie,
you sure know http://www.wikifonia.org as a (slowly) growing resource for MusicXML sheets (Finale compatible).
Which tunes are you looking for - I am a Finale user myself, so maybe I got them.

hello All ...
glad to see the other posts about the old Django_Fake 2005 version. Besides pounding on my old SelMac for lo these many years I also play a chromatic button (B-Grif) box. so I love to just have plain simple lead sheets to work from as I'm familiar with most of the tune structures ...
So, annie if you're still joining in let me know how your squeeze box world is working out. I just love those notes rippling off my chest, especially the low bass registers. I have a big Hohner Maestro which at 26 lbs. was way to heavy so I performed a bassectomy on her and removed all the bass mecanisms. It's much easier to handle and I accompany my old group with just chord and melody work on the right side.
Giving credit where due; the original Djang0_Fake book was put together by one Matt Mitchell, a veritable guitar power-house in the Tucson area. He updated the original fake, correcting some mistakes and adding about 30 more tunes.
CAVEAT: he often mentions that he put some of the tunes in horn friendly Bb of F keys. but the stuff is worth havfing in any collection...
So ... thanks Matt for defying the copyright gods and posting the original... hell .. no one is making enough money playin g this wondeful genre to worry about a few missed royalties.
cheers,
