For those of you that might not have seen this. This is a link to the DG-300 I did first with the pots. and switch. As Michael said it needs a little work due to the phasing issue but it's almost there. I know what the problem is I just have to find time to work on my own guitar! It sounds great thru my tube amp but I'm not so happy with the tone when I run it thru my Unico.
I thought it should be mentioned, based on the original post that started this thread, that a DuPont brand bigtone is perfect for a Dupont md-50 (although i think a bigtone is not a good choice for a veille reserve). Also, i think the bigtone sounds much better (a much wider frequency response) through a Schertler Unico than through a AER.
I use my Bigtone also though a Crate taxi and the tone is terrible but the convenience and portability of that rig is second to nothing, especially for busking. The street audience doesn't notice the lack of sound quality. The taxi can also support 2 guitars, both with bigtones (if you wanted to busk with someone else).
This is in no way to discount what John posted about his Bigtone...
Just as a note incase any one cares... If you play a Dupont Bridge on a Dupont guitar the intonation will be off unless you play high action. High action being 3.8mm to 4.3mm or so.
