Pingary is answering to a comment I made about Weissenborn earlier in this thread. Well, I actually bought a Goldtone SM some weeks ago (the solid mahogany one), second hand, mint condition to discover quite soon it had a tedious rattling coming from inside when playing high notes. It came out almost every brace was detached inside and had to be glued back again. Still waiting for my luthier to fix it... next time I'll go Bear Creek, I swear. Normally Goldtone doesn't sound that bad though:

I don't think it's widely available yet -- not even sure what the current rumored release date is supposed to be? The one's in the pic iirc were prototypes.

I am wondering how the sound is on it. Apparently it has the punchy treble but also quite a decent low bass on it too..
