Opa Tsupa's album Bastringue is a lot of fun, but perhaps not if you are insanely purist. Also, the Lost Fingers do some fun stuff, but definitely not for the purist.
Please listen to "Cette chanson est pour vous" on integrale django set somewhere. It's an absolute gem for the vocals, and the accompaniment is really interesting too. I love this tune!
