All the above are great, but cannot leave Dutch singer Kim Hoorweg out either. This is also a fine video too, live at Bimhuis, Amsterdam, featuring one of the tunes from Boulevard of Broken Dreams with the Robin Nolan Trio and Benjamin Herman. Love this album.

Nothing beats all the many vocals on the old Django recordings (many of which can be found on the comprehensive Integrale Set). There are some on the Oscar Aleman - I actually like these. As far as modern CD's the one with Sara Lazarus and Bireli Lagrene is great. There is also one by Paulus Schafer that features "The Good Life" and others, tough the singing on that one is somewhat over the top stylewise (sounds a little too Sinatra-ish to my ears).

@davidlbrehm that's a great tune by the way. I don't hear much Gypsy in there, perhaps a touch of French cafe sound. But your lady has a really great voice and it's super well done as far as arranging, production and such. Be fun to hear you guys do something traditional, a swing tune, like discussed in this thread.
