@stuart when you're viewing the store via the mobile skin, the forum link is located under the Categories tab.

    Thanks...

@pickitjohn in safari you have to click on your user name in each notification. That will trigger the "X" to appear.

Doesn't work for me either: windows 7, IE or Firefox browsers. I'll try on XP later on.

edit: doesn't work on XP either.
Clicking on either name or users pic takes me to the user page.
Maybe it matters which account I'm using to sign on?
I've been using original forum log in.

edit 2: on the other hand this definitively works; typing "@" and following with a letter or two, the site will give suggestions for user names.

I must be missing something, never saw the "X".

I Do have a lot of notifications I don't need anymore.

How about one button somewhere CLEAR NOTIFICATIONS

I only read em once, maybe automatic setting to delete after reading with an option to mark as unread

The yellow bubbles are good, making the forum more usable I think. I still don't dig the reaction buttons. How about just +1 and -1 , for like and dislike, or thumbs up thumbs down that kind of thing ..

@wim thanks for the input. I'll definitely be reorganizing the reactions, probably will be similar to what you suggested.

Recently, threads with new, unread posts are no longer shown in BOLD in Firefox or Chrome, so all threads look like they have been read. I am logged in. Started about a week ago. It does not do this on my iPad or iPhone, iOS 4 and iOS 6 respectively. Not a big problem, thought it should be mentioned.

Thanks Craig, I fixed that. Once we integrated the site, the css from the main site overrided the css for the forum. So I had to go back and restore some of those display settings. Thanks for pointing that one out!

    2) Notifications: When mentioning another user, precede their name with the "@" symbol and the forum will notify that user of the post (i.e. @django is playing in New York this weekend!)

Is there a way to do this with users who have a space in the middle of their name?

@stuart no, there's no way to do that. That's why I removed the space from my user name.
