    @galvanomter You should now...please check.

    There are now 7 user levels. Everyone starts at "New" an works their way up, gaining features along the way. If you have an older account, the system will automatically bump you up to the approriate level based on your points (gained from posting, reactions, etc.) However, it only updates your status when you post a comment, which you just did. So you now should be able to edit your signature.

    @galvanometr sorry, I had just changed a setting before you tried it. Please try now, I think it should work.

    When signing in from a forum thread, the redirect is broken. forum goes into the url twice, resulting in a 404 back from the server. Just removing one of these manually takes me to the right place.

    @wim thanks for reporting that, I'll look into that. One of the redirects probably needs to be tweaked.

    @wim could you be more specific? I wasn't able to recreate this problem. Which login method are you using (i.e. regular forum signin, facebook, google, etc?)

    I tried going into a discussion while logged out and then tried logging in via all the different methods and it always brought me to the right place.

    OK, before I am signed out and I am at this url:
    http://www.djangobooks.com/forum/discussion/12551/new-forum/p19

    Then I sign in with the buttons shown, and I'm taken to this url (404):
    http://www.djangobooks.com/forum/forum/discussion/12551/new-forum/p19

    Chromium browser.
