It's one of the golden tips I got from the forum some years back. Get a bow rosin and either use the nail file to make some dust or break off a tiny chip and just crumble it between your fingers.
It makes the pick stickier than a ..... I need a joke here, HELP!!
Stickier than a glue trap? I tried to find a picture but they all showed mice or birds stuck to them and were pretty sad (i.e. not very funny). But if you've ever tried to use one and touch the glue, it is pretty sticky!
Sorry for the late response, but thank you everyone for the suggestions!

I don't pick the conventional way, so I use the Wegen Fatone 5.0 mm to get as close as possible to get the sound, and it feels really comfortable to grip:

@MikeK did you ever try bow rosin?
I haven't. Say more.

That's it! That's what bow rosin will do if you put some between the pick and fingers.

5mm trimus and Killy Nonnis pick for me !
Sometime the way you hold the pick has a lot to do with the sound and volume.
Micheal Dunn once told me that he was using a left handed pick ( bevels on opposite sides ) because of the way he was holding it.
Personally I am using round edges and 1.5 mm. Thick and pointy makes it sound aggressive.
To me , Gonzalo Bergara has the nicest sound. I think he's using the side of a Dunlop Gator grip. And let's not forget the " hands "
